Summary
Had this idea for a while, and thought that I should share.
The reader was born in North Carolina, and moved to Japan with her family when she was ten. Her father owned a mining and jewelry company and had moved the family there to be closer to the operations. The reader started working as an appraiser for her father at thirteen because of her keen eye for detail. While out of town on business for her father, her entire family was murdered. When she discovered what happened upon her return, she decided to join the Demon Slayers, so she could bring justice for her family. Now, as a rising slayer, she gets called on higher profile missions, ones lead by Hashiras.
