Summary
Yelan is very good at her job. She is the dagger tucked in Ningguang's fist and the shadow whispering into her ear. She is the Tianquan's phantom hand. But even a phantom gets captured sometimes. Occupational hazard.
(Or: Yelan never knows how to fold, but Ningguang is still the worse gambler.)

Summary
Jean digs her nails into the bright pink already blooming over Eula's flesh, marveling. She wants the clear, unmistakable shape of her hand here, she's pretty sure: all five fingers. She wants to leave her mark, Gunnhildr over Lawrence. Her other hand pushes down hard on the small of Eula's back, in case Eula starts squirming again. But all the venom has drained from Eula's eyes; she melts under Jean's touch, hissing in pain but arching subtly into Jean's palm.

Summary
Months into her carefully arranged marriage with the Dandelion Knight of Mondstadt, Ayaka's wife still feels like nothing more than a polite, distant stranger. So when Ayaka travels back to Inazuma to visit family, she expects the physical distance will give Jean the appropriate excuse to drift even further away from her.
It's then that she receives the first letter.
