Summary
A year into the zombie apocalypse and things aren't looking too well for Mikey Way. Separated from his brother and friend after the betrayal of someone they had placed their trust in he finds himself alone and angry. While trying to refill his water supply he runs into a group of scouts from the ever growing safe haven for human survivors known as The Last of the Real Ones. One of the scouts takes a special interest in Mikey and does all that he can to try to convince Mikey not to run off by himself.

(Frank was working in the south tower the day it happened. A month after September 11th, Gerard is still grieving his death. Between juggling trying to protect his younger brother from the bigotry of his parents, maintain a job which he struggles to get out of bed for in the mornings, watching stories of families being reunited weeks after the attack with jealous apathy and fighting off the urge to head to the local liquor store, he’s given up any hope of ever really being happy again.
That is until a missing poster turns up stamped with Frank’s face but paired with a different name. Gerard is suddenly sent down a spiralling path of lies, deceit, mistrust, all the while falling hopelessly in love with the man he thought he knew all over again.)

Summary
Gerard's life was almost perfect; hot boyfriend, good relationship with his family, great job as a professional comic book writer, and he even managed to get a lavish apartment with his childhood best friend, Jamia.
There wasn't much he would change about his life, except for one tiny detail. Jamia's hot as fuck, asshole boyfriend- Frank Iero.
Gerard truly believed that the only reason Frank was put on this earth was to torment him. They do say the shorter you are the closer you are to hell, and man was this guy short. Frank reminded Gerard of his high school bullies, minus the physical violence. Frank preferred much more to cut Gerard with his words rather that hit him- at least he could give the punk that much.
That was pretty much his only complaint, though. He thought everything was going amazing, nothing could possibly go wrong, right? Wrong. Gerard's world suddenly took a sharp turn when he walked in on the love of his life in bed with someone else, and when he stepped through his front door, heartbroken and exhausted from crying the whole way home, who else would be there to comfort him but Frank Iero?
