“Not the cave,” Dick pleads. He hugs around Clark's neck, tucking his face into the curve of it. The last thing he wants is to spend the rest of the evening feeling Bruce's eyes judging him from the shadows. It will be bad enough when he reads the report.
Clark doesn't really think before flying Dick to the nearest shared League safehouse that he knows of. It's a tiny place in what must be the worst part of town, but at least it's secure and no one is likely to bother them.

Slade catches it in one huge hand. “All things considered I think I've been much more of a gentleman than most alphas would be with you dangling yourself in front of me like that.”
“Lucky me you aren't most alphas,” Dick purrs. He knows he shouldn't be purring at Slade, of all people, but the sound is out before he can stop it.

Summary
Standing up on the roof of the warehouse he's been perched on, he realizes just a fraction of a second too late that the roof isn't as sturdy farther away from the walls. He lands on his feet because he isn't an amateur, but breaks something that smells like a wine barrel on the way down. It doesn't look like any wine he's ever seen and he groans, hoping beyond hope for it to be shitty Gotham wine.
By the time he's made it back to the safehouse, he's lost all hope that it might be wine.

He looks around, but doesn't see anyone he knows. At least not until Robin appears in front of him. He's in a Robin costume, but underneath it Joey would know the way Dick wears that specific costume anywhere, even though this is the first time he's seen it with his own eyes.
