Summary
After dying in the fall of Gondolin, Glorfindel and Ecthelion each wake in strange environments, far from anything they have ever known or loved. Neither of them know where they are, or why — and most importantly, where the other is. Glorfindel finds himself in the opulent gardens of a warm city, where he is soon discovered by a silver-haired young girl with a kind heart. As she tries to comfort him in his grief, he cannot help but be reminded of Idril. Ecthelion wakes in the freezing North of Westeros and is taken in by the Stark family, as Lord Eddard has an awful track record with keeping strays. Ecthelion tries to adjust to this strange new life despite his grief, but as he finally begins to find his footing, danger looms on the horizon, threatening the lives of those he has come to love. Each elf swears an oath: to protect and serve a child they have come to see as their own. But as this cruel world digs in its claws, and horror after horror passes before their eyes, Ecthelion and Glorfindel must fight to hold onto their morals, their loved ones, and themselves.

Summary
If they are not human, than what exactly are they?
This question has been running through Lily's mind ever since she found herself stuck with these strange fae inhabiting her house. After various events, she has slowly given up hope on getting away from them, but that does not mean that she cannot help other people in the future. With the interest of humanity at heart (and definitely not to fight off her boredom) Lily sets out to create a journal documenting the fae with their habits, but also their weaknesses and strengths. Unfortunately it is rather difficult to experiment on creatures who do no speak your language and are almost twice your size. Still, Lily tries even if she herself has no clue what exactly is going, and if that means risking the wrath of her captors by ending up stuck on the roof after a failed experiment or 'accidentally' lighting one of them on fire to see if they are fire proof, then so be it.
This work can be read as a standalone but I recommend you read the first part of this series, Andorotaurë, first to properly understand the context.

Summary
He is on his knees in the mud. The very breath is stolen from his lungs. All he can see is darkness.
He sees his father’s face, creased in disappointment as he makes a mistake and the knife he is forging cracks when he quenches it. His mother, pale and drawn and staring out of the window of their house. The night that they ran, all his possessions that he could carry stuffed into a pack as they steal out of the house, tear tracks down his mother’s face as she urges him to run, to run as fast as he can through the twisted trees.
The same tears on her cheeks when her head is in his lap, blood staining her chest as his father is wrestled to the ground by guards in shining armour.
His father’s wide eyes as he falls. As if he didn’t really expect, until the moment he was pushed, that this was really the end.
The wind howls in the abyss below his feet. The rocks crumble and fall, and the edge of the precipice beckons.

Summary
When Isabel wakes up with a mouthful of sand on an unknown beach, she has no idea of the turn her life has taken.
This is a love letter to Tolkien’s works, and to my own life and hometown.
