"Do I distract you, Will?"
The tone in the doctor’s voice stopped Will’s words before they could form. Whatever excuse he had been about to make evaporated from his mind like steam. Hannibal stepped into the room, shrugging out of his coat before closing the door to hang it on an empty hook. He hesitated for a fraction of a second before locking the door behind him, letting the sound speak irrefutably to his intentions. Silence remained his back. Hannibal turned to find the profiler staring, cheeks flushed with color.
Will seemed to have forgotten how to speak.
He watched the play of the muscles beneath Hannibal's shirt; watched and remembered gripping them, wondering again if he’d left marks. He needed to know if Hannibal’s body was as painted as his own- needed to know more than he needed to draw another breath. Will swallowed hard and tore his eyes away from the the swell of Hannibal’s chest in the enticing v of the shirt, his fingers flexing as if they wanted to reach for him. Hannibal grinned and pushed away from the door, rolling up his sleeves as he drew closer, watching Will's pupils swell to encompass the beautiful, endless blue of his eyes.Series
