Former spec ops Bucky Barnes finds himself in the good graces of Natasha Romanoff --AKA Black Widow-- one night, when he mistakenly tries to protect her from some creeps in a dark alley. She definitely doesn't need his help, but she does know a certain tall blonde and handsome superhero named Steve that would be charmed by that sort of chivalry, and she makes it her mission to get the two together. Seriously, everyone needs a bro like Natasha.
(featuring Bucky and Nat as the world's most dangerous pair of besties, Nat as a meddling matchmaker, Bucky as a man so thirsty he must be dying of dehydration, and Steve as the world's biggest meatball. So basically, the canon.)

Bucky Barnes is being catfished. He knows he's being catfished because there is no way in hell that Steve Rogers, AKA Captain fucking America, would be on Grindr, let alone that he'd be on Grindr and messaging him.
Still, if the guy wants to talk, then Bucky will talk, he's just not going to give anything away without making his new pet catfish swim through a few hoops first. After all, anyone with a basic grasp of photoshop can edit a picture. It's not like it's really Steve that's sending him all those selfies... Right?
