Summary
Peter is a comic books fan, which is probably pretty weird considering he's an actual superhero, but whatever. He's made peace with it.
Now an adult with a full-time job to juggle on top of his Spider-Man duties, he doesn't have time to read most releases for his favorite characters, save for one: Deadpool. He keeps up religiously with Deadpool. Even has a poster of him on his wall, and even occasionally talks to that poster just to keep the crippling loneliness of his double-life at bay.
Deadpool's newest and most mysterious series, Deadpool: Arrival, is... strange. The plot is paper thin and pointless, none of Deadpool's usual crowd shows up, and his fourth wall breaks are... weird. Like, weird weird. Uncanny, some might say.
Or, really, one might say. Because the longer Peter reads, the more he begins to realize that all those fourth wall breaks, all those weird asides, seem to be tailored to one person, and one person alone: himself.

Bucky Barnes really needs someone to pretend to be his boyfriend for 5 minutes, just long enough to make his ex go away so he can enjoy the rest of his afternoon in peace. Super sweet Steve, with his perfect body and even better smile, is naturally willing to help the cute guy who hangs out in the park.
Fast forward several weeks and Bucky thinks they have the perfect fake dating arrangement. Bucky meets Steve's friends. Steve spends Bucky's birthday with his family.
There's only one problem. Steve apparently missed the fake part in their relationship and sets out to be the best boyfriend Bucky Barnes never had. Meanwhile, Bucky is working hard not to develop feelings for his friend.
To complicate everything, the world, and more importantly Bucky, don't know that the new Captain America, who never shows his full face, is actually Steve Rogers, the original Captain America who was secretly revived after 70 years on ice.

And to make matters worse there’s this insistent tugging he feels in his chest anytime he is at Avenger’s tower and considering he lives there, that’s a lot. There’s this cute guy he met in the elevator and this sweet scent that’s attached to him, and Steve has no idea how to approach that in general. Meanwhile, Natasha seems intent to get him laid in the new century. At least he no longer has to deal with Hydra, having watched it crash and burn into the Potomac River a year ago.
Misunderstandings, setups, hijinks, and chaos ensues, but what if he doesn’t want this omega to get hurt because of him? Especially when those Hydra baddies come crawling back. What’s an Alpha to do?

I feel that Bucky has always been the one taking care of everyone else, his family, Steve. He grew up being the strong one and never allowed himself to rely on others.
Bucky has never been one to seek out or accept comfort, he's always the one dishing it out.So one day on mission, Bucky gets injected with some virus strong enough to override the serum. (He doesn't realize he's actually sick because it's been so long and he always just assumes any injection is a sedative.)

It takes another moment, but eventually, the cracks a tiny smile of his own. He wipes his hand on his faded jeans and holds it out to Bucky. “Steve,” he says.
Ignoring the residual blood, Bucky takes the proffered hand, which is big and warm. “Nice to meet ya, Steve,” he offers with a crooked grin. “Name’s Barnes. James Barnes. But of course, everyone calls me Bucky.”

He’s my friend.
Steve didn’t know what else to say. Bucky, his friend, was not okay. Well, that was obvious, and he felt stupid for pointing it out, but he didn’t have a better word for what was going on. Everything just wasn’t okay. He had gone back under ice just a few minutes ago and Steve was sitting in the room over, head in his hands, feeling completely useless. He couldn’t help Bucky, he knew that. There was nothing he could do to undo all of Hydra’s brainwashing, all of Bucky’s meticulously wiped and reprogrammed memories were untouchable for Steve. All he could do was take care of him, so he did.
