Summary
The Player, the one who treated the world like a game. For some, a hero who built great works and machines. For others, a jailer and a destroyer. Mortal, yet beyond. Able to return after death, only losing items. Some say it was other gods’ punishment, others say he himself altered the world’s rules for a challenge. What is known is that his hubris led to his life being permanently claimed by the most horrible of monsters: The Wither.
So what happens to a hardcore world when its creator dies? What of the monuments he leaves behind? What empires rise and fall? What empty towns grow into grand cities?
And what happens when humans with abilities like The Player’s begin reappearing, finding themselves in the middle of nowhere with little memory and knowledge of the world?
Sylph is one of these humans. All she wants is to make a living selling TNT and live an otherwise uneventful life. But that becomes a hard goal to reach when figures from a past she doesn’t know exists begin to act in the background, and the wheels of change begin to turn once more…

Summary
It's easy to look at a situation from the outside and say, "I could've avoided that." Going from unwilling side character to not part of the story at all can be as simple as wrong timing. As a new trainer setting off to fulfill a dream never thought possible, all Dia wants is to avoid any and all action that's drawn to Hilda via being an adversary of Team Plasma.
She forgets that the requirements of a hero aren't simply "existing."
(In which a girl mysteriously gets transported to the world of Pokemon and fails to avoid the narrative. She tried her best to, she swears.)
