It was too much, every emotion Will had shoved down for years was suddenly resurging, scraping and clawing at him. He had so little time, and he didn’t know how to express all his thoughts, or what his thoughts even were. His voice trembled, shaky and uneven as tears trailed down his cheeks.

Will knew it was more then what it seemed: Hannibal could offer a person the choice to be ended by his hands. Where the body would be left to the worms, he had held out a caring hand and stated so beautifully, "Let me complete your destruction, and allow yourself to gift me your soul, so it may become a part of my very being." He was the rapture, and Will would succumb to its blinding light.
