Summary
8 years after the death of Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, Shacklebolt is dead and John Dawlish has become Minister of Magic. All was well until the Daily Prophet began a fear campaign around another dark magic uprising. With Wiggenweld also becoming exceptionally hard to come by, Peace and Order were the most prominent words being thrown around magical Britain. A ministry-led program, Magical Matches, was created to force marriages between magically compatible witches and wizards. The Ministry had declared that strong magic bonds would be the key to prevent another dark uprising in the future, placing emphasis on the need for a stronger magical population.
