Summary
Wednesday was no longer a stranger to parent-teacher meetings, after all her daughter had already been asked to leave one school when she was in the first grade. Now that Lenore Addams was nine years old and in fourth grade her mother was less than surprised to get called into a mandatory meeting a month into the school year with her daughter's newest teacher.
What she didn't expect was to be greeted by an overly enthusiastic Enid Sinclair who, instead of being afraid of her child, was delighted by her. Wednesday was even more surprised when this teacher not only took interest in her daughter's interests and strange personality - but their little family as a whole.
She didn't trust her kindness, but Miss Sinclair was the first to trust Lenore. That was enough for now.
