Papyrus is gentle and kind-hearted, yet loud and lively, almost totally innocent of the woes of the world. At least that’s what most people think. In reality, he is underestimated and infantilized by his family and even his own brother, who refuses to reveal the secrets of their past to him. Increasingly depressed by the actions of his peers, Papyrus turns to drugs to get away from it all.
Mettaton is glamorous and egotistical, yet loving and generous, assumed by fans to be untroubled both in and out of the spotlight. However, he too is plagued by a dark past—including the worst possible betrayal by a close friend. All in all, the abuse he’s suffered has left him craving for love in the worst of places... so he's given his heart to the very man who shattered it.
When Papyrus and Mettaton meet, sparks fly, and they begin to find in each other the love and respect they’ve needed all along. There’s only one thing standing in the way of true love, and that’s the walls they’ve built around their own hearts. Can they knock them down in time to save themselves and each other from the demons within and without?

Summary

More and more the idea of being a sub calls to him, and despite his fears he is drawn to the role. But a sub needs a dom, and who better than the enthusiastic, kind dom he'd been talking to for months online, the one that makes his soul race every time they talk?
He didn't expect it to be Papyrus, though.
