Summary
In present-day London, Clive Rosfield is a Navy veteran trying to settle into his new desk job as a consultant and field agent for a security firm, the Telamon Group. Jill Warrick has given up her dream of being a figure skater and is a press coordinator for the Foreign Office. Everything changes one night at a bar when their friends dare them both to pick up a hot date for the night, and it turns out to be the cute childhood neighbor whom they haven’t seen for 13 years. The chemistry is there, but will it endure as Clive and Jill wrestle with the demons in their own pasts?
Chap. 1 - At an international security summit, Jill’s co-workers try to snag an exotic date for the night for her. Jill gives into the silly game and picks a dark handsome stranger with blue eyes. Across the bar, Gav picks out a girl for his mate Clive, and he settles on a young woman with silver hair for him. Oh, she’s already walking over.

Chap. 23 - A return to a favourite location is a trip down memory lane for both Clive and Jill, reminding them of how they were always destined to meet here again, and chart a new life from here. -
