“…Do you… really think I look pretty when I come?” Amity asks quietly, a few hours later. They’re lying face toward each other in bed, Luz reaching across to lightly stroke Amity’s hair.
“Yeah. I do.” She smiles, lopsided and perfect.
Up till now, it’d been silent in the room while she enjoyed Luz’s hand on her face. But the warm honey in her eyes was almost too sweet to stomach. Too sincere. Too adoring. Too in love.
“Is… something wrong?” Luz asks with concern in her voice.
“…No, I just. Can’t believe it’s… that this is my real life.” She whispers, an ironic realization hitting her. “I feel like I’m in some kind of porn film.” She looks at her, repulsed by herself. “With you.”
Luz is just simply amused. Her eyebrows shoot up. “Well, this… has been one long porno.”
