So here, here’s the list.
Idiotic (but admittedly slightly competent) hunters out for his blood?

The bare minimum of supplies and the ability to keep himself standing upright?
Check.
Feathered abominations that either poke very uncomfortably out of the top of his hoodie or are squashed underneath? That require, at the least, an hour of care to stop hurting for a few minutes? That aren’t even big enough to be useful and fly?
He sighs internally.

Summary
When Dream escaped prison, he expected everything to be the same as it used to be. Sure, the whole world was against him now, but when hadn’t they been? It was nothing new, nothing that he couldn’t handle. An easy bargain, a price that he was more than willing to pay for his freedom.
And he really should have been fine, all things considered.

As much as Dream would like to pretend otherwise, the prison changed him. Months of torture and solitary confinement tend to do that to people, no matter how strong they may have been.

Summary
“You fuck- Dream!” Sapnap roars, jerking back, eyes practically glowing with rage. “Don’t you fucking dare scurry off again.”
Dream tries to scramble back, flinching away when the giant easily uses a foot to block his path. He’s practically choking on each breath as he gasps for air, fighting the urge to take his mask off so he can breathe better.
He’s going to die.

Dream thought stealing from two giants would be a good idea. It wasn't, and a series of miscommunications makes everything harder than it needs to be.
