Summary
Life isn't exactly easy to navigate as a teenager; everyone knows this, but to navigate as a teenager *and* the personification of a physical construct sounds like hell. At least, that's what I'd say. My name is Dearil -Dea for short-and I’m you’re average, mentally ill 17-year-old. Me and my twin brother Spiro live with our parents in a “4” bedroom house - although its really more like three bedrooms and a tiny box room that doubles as an office - on the outskirts of a relatively normal city in England. My Mum is the current concept of Nature, and my Dad is Day. And unfortunately for me, my powers have started developing. Powers I shouldn't have.
The balance of the arcane and celestial is shifting, and with it, the fabric of what is known and unknown hangs in jeopardy. With secrets on all sides and a "best friend" who is not what he seems, could this be the final push Dearil needs? Because if given the chance, who wouldn’t destroy that which ultimately takes everything you’ll ever care about.

Summary
Special education. Those are words Alison loathes. After her dyslexia diagnosis, she spent ten years of special education at school, she grew to detest the way her school treated kids like her, and vowed to do a better job that this when she grew up.
And today is her first day as Special Educational Needs Coordinator (the name makes her cringe, but she can’t change it) at Button House Comprehensive. And after spending all day with autistic kids banned from stimming and wheelchair users struggling with inaccessibility, Alison becomes even more determined to give these kids the chance she never got.An AU in which Alison has dyslexia and hated being put through special education (including its name) and wanted to make things better for kids like her when she grew up.
