So about a week ago (i think? What is time at this point anyways) I posted a lil picture that involved my parts of my headcanons of how vessel cloaks worked. In the tags, I asked people to question me on my Hollow's cloak was so short in comparison to what it should've been.
And ask they did!!!
Sometime and a google doc later, here we are! Over 1000 words of me angsting about Hollow's cloak (+300 or so words of semi fluff about Hollow's cloak)

The topic of Jiang Yanli’s marriage prospects came up while Jiang Yanli sat with her parents one morning, working on an embroidery project.
“Acting Sect Leader Lan suggests that you might be a good match for Lan Huan, now called Xichen,” her mother said to Jiang Yanli. She looked consideringly at Jiang Yanli, who glanced up from her embroidery. A small smile touched her mother’s mouth. “It would be a good match. We will travel to Gusu and discuss this proposition. Make the arrangements.”
Jiang Yanli’s engagement to Jin Zixuan never comes to fruition.
