“James.” Pandora spoke up, gaining the male’s attention. He smiled brightly at Pandora before his eyes landed on Regulus, taking some steps closer to them.
Pandora took a quick glance at Regulus to make sure he was still alright before gesturing towards him. “This is Rainier Belcourt, my business partner.”
Regulus took a moment to clear his throat, silently praying that his glamour would keep holding. It always had before but this was James Potter. He held out his hand towards James before speaking with his obscured voice, “It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr Potter. Pandora tells me that you would like us to work on a commission for you.”
James nodded quickly and reached out to gently grab Regulus’ hand. “Thank you for agreeing to meet with me Mr Belcourt.”or, Regulus won the war but ran away to France for two years, coming back as popular landscape painter Rainier Belcourt. James wants to commission a landscape and begs Pandora to get him an appointment with 'Rainier Belcourt'.

Summary
James Potter often lamented his soulmate mark. His best friends had the perfect marks, resulting in a picture perfect romance. It wasn't as if he intended to insult his soulmate, but the words inked upon his collarbone did not inspire confidence that their first meeting would go well.
