Summary
When the Courting Laws are enacted during Harry's eighth year, Severus and Draco do everything they can to keep Harry from finding himself married to an unpleasant stranger, including Severus fake-courting Harry.
Following graduation, Harry and Draco go to the States to go to university (where no one will judge Draco for his Dark Mark and no one will try to trick Harry into marriage), but Harry still finds himself thinking about his dates with his old headmaster.

“I have to do no such thing.” He replied. “And I didn’t ask for the nut bread.”
“I know. It’s new on the menu. You’ll like it. So, what day?”
He sighed, pulling the nut bread closer – he still didn’t much care for nuts. “January 9th. And you best put to rest any ideas you have about asking me for the year.” He added dryly.
Harry giggled all the way back to the counter.
