Summary
Set within an altered Piltover and Zaun, this tale steps outside Runeterra’s canon. Key events, histories, and mythologies may have shifted entirely.
The story brings together the atmosphere of 'Arcane', the themes and aesthetics of 'Lies of P', and a subtle concept inspired by 'Gachiakuta'. (EDIT. Shadow Slave & Made In Abyss, as well.)

Timebomb still exists here, but Ekko’s forgiveness isn’t something that comes quickly. With no alternate universe softening his thoughts on her, he has no reason to see Jinx through the lens he carried after Arcane Season 2 Episode 7.
So it all shifts, Jinx is the one who has to rebuild what shattered between them, because, in truth, and I'm not sorry to say:
Ekko owes her nothing. Nothing at all.

Three weeks after Viktor's fall and Scenario #37's conclusion, the Twin Cities stand in uneasy silence. The Star Stream's scenarios lie dormant. Piltover and Zaun must navigate a fractured peace neither understands.
But peace is a luxury for the grieving.
Ekko, tainted by Wild Rune and burdened by a Myth-ranked attribute he can't comprehend, exists between living and dying. He breathes for one reason: to remember Jinx. To paint her face endlessly. To keep a memory no one else can hold. Each step forward defies the death he craves but cannot claim.
Is his existence "living"? Or merely endurance dressed as sorrow?
Ezreal, restless and ambitious, stands at Piltover's edge dreaming of horizons beyond these walls. A Wandering Pathseeker hungry for unwritten stories and untouched ruins. Where Ekko is chained by memory, Ezreal is driven by its absence—seeking something to make the world feel vast again.

Everything is fake. Fake, fake, fake.
Except him. He felt so real.
So real, to the point where it was almost terrifying. But Jinx likes it. And she voices it very well when given the chance.

Summary
Silco's... not a good parent. As much as he loves his daughter, he has a few flaws when it comes to her. But he can explain it all away, from slipping drugs into her tea to keep her his perfect little girl to keeping her safe away from the world. He can even explain giving her to the Enforcers in exchange for Zaun - after all, they've given their word that Jinx is not to be harmed.
Ekko, meanwhile, went to the bridge upon overhearing the Enforcers' plans to capture Jinx on their radios - she's too far gone, and as the last person who knew Powder as well as the leader of the Firelights, it's his job to put her down.
But after rescuing her instead upon realizing Jinx is still at least a little Powder, when he learns that 'Jinx' the persona isn't real but instead a defense mechanism, upon learning about the drugs in her system and the pain and fear inflicted on her, he insists she can be saved.
And thus begins the rest of her life.
(Featuring childhood-friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers Timebomb, a complicated relationship between Jinx and Silco, genius Firelight bioengineer Jinx/Powder, and Jinx proving she's stronger and better than anyone gives her credit for.)
