"Thats another loose end". Roach heard a gunshot and felt pain in his chest. He heard Ghost yell, and another gunshot.... Roach felt his body burning. He opened his eyes and saw flames upon his body and Shepard walking away. He was in pain, but he didn't scream, he was too tired to do even that. He then heard a voice yell out, and that was all he heard, and everything went dark.

"Let me prove it to you. Please." Roach says. His voice is small, and he's not even sure that he can prove it.
"How do you plan on doing that?" Ghost's irritation is obvious. But Gary has to try.
Gary motions to his left arm. "Let me?" He asks, holding his hand out with his palm up.
Ghost looks to Soap. What exactly was this guy trying to do? "It's alright, Lt. Just let him try." Soap says with a small smile.
Ghost obliges, setting his left wrist in Roach's hand and looking back to the man before them. Roach softly pushes his sleeve up, searching for some semblance of himself in the dark ink that swirled around the forearm of the tall man.
He stops and smiles widely, holding back the tears of relief that threatened to spill. "There. That's me- I'm in the tattoo!"

Roach has been having nightmares, the kind that remind him he shouldn't be alive. But one day he wakes up in a place tha is all too familiar, but all too different. Simon is alive. So is John. But they don't remember him. He has to prove it.

Summary
It’s been four years since Koby’s joined the Marines, and two years since one of the greatest power struggles in the world took place between pirates and the government. More importantly, two years since Straw-Hat Luffy became the Pirate King.
Personally, life’s been great for Koby ever since he joined. He’s climbed the ranks at record speed, ultimately obtaining the rank of a Rear-Admiral. His life-long dream of being Fleet Admiral is in sight, and it seems that everything is finally working out for him.
Until a certain pirate that Koby happens to have a major crush on comes flying into his window and asks to kidnap him. Trust a pirate to show up out of the blue and successfully ruin Koby’s life for the better. Again.In which Koby has to join the Straw-Hat pirates in order to bring down a child trafficking ring, all while being hopelessly in love with a pirate. The typical stuff, really.

Soap paused, as if he sensed the trap he was about to run into. Smart boy. “.. If you did I cannae remember it.”
Hook line and sinker.
“Well it always used to get shot at you see, but all it needed was Apache.”
Soap groaned, thumping his head onto the dirt floor. “Oh my God where do these come from, why me, I’m asking for a new mission partner. Maybe Gaz.”
Ghost laughed quietly, muffled slightly by the mask, he shoved at Soaps shoulder playfully. “As if you could live without me and my dazzling sense of humour Sarge.”
Soap smiled softly at him, something so tender Ghost wanted to cup it in his hands and lock it away somewhere safe, somewhere the world couldn’t rip at it with its never ending cruelties. “It’s about as dazzling as a crock of shit Ghost, but you’re right. I couldn’t.”
TLDR: Mission gone awfully terribly wrong
