    The first time Xie Lian drank himself drunk was on purpose - an attempt to drown the bottomless feeling of rage and despair. The second time Xie Lian became drunk was on accident.

    As he stares at the sky he fails to notice an approaching figure until they are close by. Startled he looks to the shadows and sees a tall man dressed in dark robes with a high pony tail. He stares at the man and blurts out the first name that comes to mind that isn’t a name at all: “Wu Ming?”

    There is a briefer moment of silence before the man replies and when he does it is with the words Xie Lian never expected to hear again “Yes Your Highness”

    Ah that solidifies it. Xie Lian is definitely hallucinating.

    Local god ignores expiration dates and accidentally gets drunk on fermented juice. He assumes he’s hallucinating when he runs into his ghost soldier from centuries ago and since this is, a dream after all with no real world consequences, said god chooses to confess his feelings towards the handsome young ghost soldier who, is in fact, very much real and not a figment of said gods imagination.

    Cassius au Bellona has found himself questioning The Society more and more in the aftermath of the institute. He feels as if he is going insane wondering how nobody else around him sees how sick that whole game was. He feels helpless to stop it all, until an unlikely run in with the Sons of Ares leads him to seek them out to join their cause.

    Narol O’Lykos just wants to keep the team of Sons he’s been assigned head talk of alive, and maybe somehow manage to break some chains in the meantime. All his notions of caution are thrown out the window when a bloody damn Bellona approaches him asking to help tear down the very same society that keeps his family in power. Now he’s not only responsible for his young and very headstrong team, but he also has to teach this Peerless with a scar that isn’t even fully healed yet how to spy on his own family.

    If either of them are caught it could be the end of the Sons of Ares, but if they succeed the Sons could very well see The Society fall.

    Or — Cassius needs a father figure who will actually teach him right from wrong, and Narol is a grieving father who just wants to finally do some good with his miserable life.

    Kieran O’Lykos had become a man he hoped his father could be proud of. He was a father of three with a new baby on the way, head talk of Lambda clan, and the man of the house.

    He had lost so many people in his life, but even after all of that pain, he had learned to persevere. He knew his world, and how to survive in it.

    That all changed one night when when Ares stole him and his family from the only home they’d ever known. Now his life was uprooted and he had to wrap his mind around years of lies and grief. All because of a brother who’d endangered them all and may still die now all these years later.
