Aizawa has seen many horrific things during his career as an underground hero. The seedy underbelly of society that many want to ignore, the screams of the most victimized. The horrible crime scenes that the newspapers wouldn’t even publish pictures of, the kinds of disgusting felons that gave even the most seasoned heroes nightmares.
Despite all his experience and all he’s faced, nothing could ever have prepared him for this.

Summary
When Atsushi first moved into the apartment, he had ignored the warnings of both the real estate agent and the bizarre happenings that occured in the apartment. He had never thought for even a second that moving in would lead him to this. This, being on the verge of falling in love with a ghost that was both prickly and attentive, insufferable and so, so sweet at the same time.
Did Atsushi mention the fact that Akutagawa was a ghost? A ghost as in he died decades ago, his spirit hanging around for some obscure reason while Atsushi couldn't help but pine over him despite the distance between life and death.

Summary
Atsushi Nakajima grew up with a fascination for the ocean, always dreaming of creatures hidden beneath dark waves, both real and imaginary. It was inevitable that he’d become a marine biologist.
His life takes a turn when a job opportunity introduces him to Akutagawa, a broody and hostile merman. Despite a rocky start, a friendship blossoms with the promise of more. As Atsushi makes progress studying Akutagawa, he becomes conflicted about the merman’s captivity.
Something sinister lurks beneath the surface of the science lab and it may not be the one they call ‘devil fish’.

“Can I come with you?” the boy asks. “I don’t – I know you don’t know me, or remember me, but something feels like I know you.” He bites his lip. “I can’t really…it’s not a memory, but it’s a feeling.”
He nods, surprised to realize that he has the same sort of feeling when he looks at this boy. Not a memory, but a tug, a push from that presence in the back of his mind, insistent and alien.
