The war is over, Hermione steps back from the spotlight and works as an Ancient Ruins professor at Hogwarts, where she’s secretly dating Draco, who’s redeemed himself when he threw Harry his wand to kill the Dark Lord, currently working as a Potions professor at Hogwarts and a part time healer at St Mungo’s.
Everything is going great, until jealous old snakes interfere.

A sudden crash came from behind her made them both jump and pulled them out of their stale mate. Her fingers trembled.
"I meant what I said," she said quietly, her voice losing some of its composure - "If you haven't changed your mind. If you are still willing to come in, I don't know what will happen... people have gotten hurt,"
He considered but hadn't changed his mind. He steadied himself from behind his walls. If she could do this, so could he. Fuck.
"I'm still willing to listen Granger, let me in and we'll talk."
Draco is a curse breaker, Hermione is being haunted by an unknown entity.

Summary
"Bring the lion out!" He shouted.
From the shadows, two towering figures emerged. The figure they dragged between them was so small. Her clothes were rags and her feet were bare. Her wild curls clung to her face matted and caked in blood. When her head lifted slightly and he finally saw her face for the first time in weeks, Draco's blood ran cold, his occlumency walls threatening to shatter. He tore his eyes away from the projection and bore them into Kingsley.
"I'm going." He spat. "If you try and stop me, you will die alongside the weasel."
Paying no mind to his response he kicked the door open, Theo and Pansy closely behind. Once their feet hit the pavement, Draco began to shift. He dropped to his knees as his arms stretched and contorted into large silvery white wings. He screamed in agony at his transformation as his animagus form came together. He wasted no time once it was complete, taking to the skies trusting Theo and Pansy to keep up.
