Summary
Jing Yuan receives a fatal blow, but instead of passing on peacefully to the afterlife, he regains consciousness to find himself transported into the past, before the Quintet had formed.
This second chance he resolves to live without regrets, to prevent the tragedies to come, and to pursue his first loves.
Aka I had Feels about Jing Yuan being…kind of left behind in the past after 1.2. Wrote this to comfort myself.
Note: This is our present day in-game aged Jing Yuan transported into the past. I conveniently made no existing Jing Yuan present in that “alternate universe”.

Author really delivered a delicious food and left us craving for more. Although it was a really filling fic, i really need a continuation of this more sob) everything was just perfect.
We got equally hot possessive and protective side of both of them and we also got that well delivered(ohom pun intended ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿) non traditional abo. I love our strong shameless (and a menace) Jing Yuan and his silly beauties(Said beauties would chew out anyone who would look wrong is jing yuan's way if jing yuan himself doesn't hit them "lightly" first or put them under six feet of embarrassment.) and their respects for eachother in every way. And Yingxing and Dan Feng having a silly little competition to give a claim to jing yuan? Cherry on top was funny as hell they're so petty and childish inside dibfjsbfhs
There wasn't a single moment I didn't have fun in every chapter, Jing yuan's menace acts always tooks you out with it's leading results as well and i love it -

Summary
Everything takes place when Jing Yuan and Dan Feng are (relatively) young, Dan Feng is being prepared for his role as the High Elder and Jing Yuan is Teng Xiao’s lieutenant. Jing Yuan’s life wasn’t a child’s cake, but he considers himself a happy person, enjoys life even though he faces difficulties. Dan Feng on the other hand, is a lonely soul, he tries not to complain (at least not aloud) but he feels miserable. He was taught to withstand the hardship and lived in a bubble created by the Preceptors. He puts on a mask of a content man. He thinks that this is what he deserved and that everyone would kill to be in his place. Which was undeniably - not true.
During one of the visits on the Luofu - two get to meet and although their relationship might seem cool and Dan Feng acts distant and wary of the young lieutenant - they slowly warm up to each other. Both of their lives differ and dragon and human are like night and day * wink * but Jing Yuan’s kindness and a little bit of work on Dan Feng’s side will result in a thread of understanding forming between them. Maybe it will teach Dan Feng how to reach out to others and enjoy the world he was taught to stay away from. How can one spend such a long life all alone?Bookmarked by ThisGhostIsSleepy
