It had been almost three years since Luo Binghe had found the little mold growing in a forgotten cup of tea in the Qing Jing Peak Library. It was perfectly round, fuzzy like a curled up kitten. Perhaps it had been the late night, or perhaps it was Luo Binghe's loneliness, but he couldn't bring himself to throw it out. On nights when he was very lonely, or he'd been bullied or whipped, he'd crawl over to the corner of the woodshed and extract it to speak softly to it.
However an even stranger occurrence had happened not long after. The mold spoke back!
