Yoo Joonghyuk marched up to the edge of the rooftop, and Kim Dokja whirled around when his footsteps reached his ears. He opened his mouth to say something but Yoo Joonghyuk cut him off by firmly clamping his forearm, his hand easily encircling the entire circumference of his pale wrist.
His eyes were wide, devoid of any light.
Yoo Joonghyuk’s steady, deep breathing became even more prominent in this heavy silence. His palm pulsated against the slender wrist in his grasp.
He watched Kim Dokja’s eyes alternate between his arm and Yoo Joonghyuk, the surprise delineated by his raised eyebrows.
“Get down from there.”
Upon transferring to a new high school, Yoo Joonghyuk somehow befriended the quiet boy who sat in the back of the classroom.

“What, am I too heavy for you? Can’t handle my weight, is that it?” Comes the snide quip, to which Yoo Joonghyuk casts his gaze skyward for only the briefest of moments before a hand leaves the keyboard to ruffle his hair rather aggressively.
“Behave,” Yoo Joonghyuk snaps. And then he returns to his game, murmuring a soft apology to his teammates. “My boyfriend came in,” he says simply, the words sending a jolt through Kim Dokja’s body. Even if Yoo Joonghyuk publicised the fact that he not only has a significant other, but that it was a man, six months after they first started dating (it’s been two years since then) Kim Dokja can’t ever get used to it. For privacy reasons, they keep Kim Dokja’s identity a secret, but he’s met some of Yoo Joonghyuk’s friends, and even then he couldn’t quite believe it.
After all, to announce something like that to so many of his fans… isn’t it the same as saying, to the whole world, that he belonged only to Kim Dokja, and that Kim Dokja only belonged to him?

After their daughter was born, both Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk were both too consumed with their brand new baby to really be interested in sexual activities. They haven’t had sex in what feels like ages because they've still got their hands pretty full.
So when Yoo Joonghyuk's rut is off to a bad start and his rut cycle having overlapped with his livestream schedule — he has to keep the insatiable primal instinct to breed his mate, because Kim Dokja was dozing off on the rocking chair, sleep deprived as the exhaustion of workload was coming to bite him in the ass.
