Summary
Malcolm has been on that ship for days, no, weeks, no, months! Well... Trip may be exaggerating a bit. Malcolm has been on a hostile and unwelcoming enemy ship for exactly 15 days, 12 hours, and 5 minutes (great, now he's acting like T'pol). Trip has been close to ripping out his hair for the whole time. Logically he knew that the captain had to have his head of security with him on such a dangerous and important first contact and that if the captain hadn't taken Mal with him the unexpected attack on the delegation would have been much worse but still, he wanted His Malcolm back.
