Grian’s mind was consumed by unfathomable cravings.
And with every blow that was received and dealt he reveled.
Reveled in the touch he had gone without for so long, the warm-hot soothing that came with the feeling of his skin against Scar’s. Even in this rabid state they were both trapped in.
Reveled in the pain that he dealt, the blood he drew from his once-partner. It was a darker, more sinister part of him. One fuelled by the red aura that grew and infected part of him.
It infected Scar too, Grian knew, had dug its roots into Scar’s soul long before Grian had even lost his first life. It was a sickness that had used the oath Grian had sworn to infect him.
