And even as Caitlyn tried her best to distract her - getting Sevika to spar with her, taking her down to Jericho’s for mid-week impromptu dates, praising the work she was getting done with the Firelights until she blushed and couldn’t hide a smile - there was always something dark hovering, shadowing the corners of Vi’s smiles; sometimes further away, sometimes breathing down her nape. The weight of it loomed. Vi seemed used to its presence, but Caitlyn swore it only grew bolder - like it was merely sharpening its teeth while biding its time.
No one else could see it, but Caitlyn could. Vi’s left eye kept twitching whenever it was close by.

Summary
After mentioning that she wants to be an Enforcer over dinner, Caitlyn is transferred from the Junior Academy to Zaun's only school to discourage her from choosing that path. During her first day, a girl named Vi begrudgingly helps Caitlyn and allows her to sit with her and her siblings, and Caitlyn develops an interest in being their friend (and... maybe (definitely) also develops a tiny (massive) crush on Vi). Despite their reservations, they accept her into their little group, and she fights to be a full part of the crew, through both high school and heists.
(Basically, Vi, Mylo, Claggor, Powder, and Caitlyn at the age they were in S1: Act 1 in high school in Zaun, featuring Caitlyn and Vi having an adorable teenage romance, Vander's kids trying to make Caitlyn into an anti-establishment delinquent (it mostly works), Vander ending up with another kid constantly hanging out in his basement, and the six of them (including Ekko) being chaotic teenagers/kids trying to find their way among a steampunk borderline-dystopia, high school, and their constant shenanigans that happen as a result of them all being chaotic little gremlins plus terminal illness and class war.)

Summary
Vi was imprisoned for homicide at the age of fifteen. Finally, she has been paroled after ten years. Her family left her behind, and so did the world. She is trying to figure out how to survive the rest of her 'free' life. Then, she moved away from the town, to the city, to get a job as a mechanic at the most prestigious academic institution. One day, Professor Talis noticed his students had turned in geniuses with their homework for his class. He discovered the phantom behind the change and invited her for a chat. And Vi met his sister.
This is a story of starting a new life, leaving the past behind. It is sad, and will hurt from time to time. This story is slightly inspired by 'Good Will Hunting'.
I will only continue writing this story if I get enough encouragement and engagement from the readers. When readers stop, I stop too, no kidding.

This story tries to explore what the show didn’t have time to.
It focuses on the scenes that were never shown and gives more space to everything these characters carry. Not to rewrite who they are, but to dig deeper into what was already there.
It follows an alternate version of Arcane, where Vi’s trauma rises to the surface, Jinx struggles with her confusion, and Caitlyn confronting both her anger toward Jinx and her feelings for Vi. And then what happens when those worlds collide.
This version also gives Vi the focus she never got in S2. It follows her more closely, not just as a fighter or a sister, but as someone still dealing with everything left unresolved.
This is a new timeline shaped by a single event that will change all of them forever.
Why does anyone commit acts others deem unspeakable? For love.
