Summary
A notorious serial killer, held in a prison in New Mexico, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. After Hotch and Rossi interview him and determine that there may be more victims of his making out there, the team must figure out a way to discover where the missing victims are — if there are any at all — before the man passes away.
Despite plenty of protests from certain members, Spencer is elected to go undercover as a prisoner and retrieve as much information as he can on the whereabouts of the girls.
They wouldn’t send him in completely unguarded, of course. No, Derek will be right in there with him, sharing his cell and ready to stake his claim if any of the other inmates get any funny ideas.
That’s the plan, anyway.

A wolf in cop's clothing.
When he's finally exposed and forced to confess his horrible truth to his supervisor, he's hopeful that's the worst it can possibly get. Of course, he still has to break it to Spencer Reid that they can never be anything more than friends before things can get back to any semblance of normal.
