“I want to talk to you, Edward,” he whispers. “We need to talk.”
“Fine,” Ed says, flat with frustration and disappointment. He kinda was looking forward to getting kissed again. “I don’t think you’re really listening to what I’m saying, though. We’re married, and I’m stuck with you, and if I’m going to be stuck with you I’d at least like to have some fun sometimes where I can get it. I liked having sex with you. I’d like to do it again, at some point. Preferably soon. I’ve got a lot of lonely heats to make up for.”
Still staring at their abandoned breakfast, Roy asks softly, “And what happens when you get pregnant?”
Even with his eyes averted, Ed feels like he’s been slapped. Suddenly Roy’s looming over him is a lot less hot and a lot more threatening.
Or, the one where Ed insures that, even if he's been married off against his will, at least he has control over something in his life and secretly takes contraceptives. After an explosive but cathartic argument, he begins to settle into his marriage with Roy and realizes he has a partner instead of an opponent; and, from there, comes to a decision about pregnancy all on his own.

"I adore your diplomacy fanfic! How you subtly describe Roy through Edward's perspective is so well done in this story! The plot and storytelling are incredible, and i stayed up way late to finish it last night (didnt leave a comment then because i didn't think my sleepy brain would do it justice). I'm excited to see what else you write about them. I NEED more Māmān Trisha and, i cant believe I'm saying this, I want Roy to stay pissed at Maes for a while. Maes’ reaction to Desmond’s innocent proposal was seriously messed up. He mocked a four-year-old child, his BEST FRIEND'S four-year-old child. i would love some expansion on that, but either way, your story got me so enraptured I cant wait to see whats next.

They giggled as you motioned for them to come inside. They pulled their suitcase into the house, but paused in front of you, turning their head up with an adorable smile. You started to wonder if you had seen this kid before, they look so familiar. Maybe they remind you of one of your parents?*You are a family court lawyer with a dark past that caused you to be separated from your sibling years ago. Now they are placed in your care out of the blue because the government didn't like the idea of a monster raising a human, you have to deal with speaking to your sibling about your shared past and lost parents, the courts who make life hard, new monster friends, and this skeleton that won't stop interrupting you and being a nosy jerk
