Summary
“You want me here,” Khoa yelled, and Bruce did not answer to it.
“You should not be here,” he said instead, as though what he desires was not worth anything in this equation, as though personal gratification had nothing to do with their mission, in their goals. A damn joke when Bruce liked to taunt him with his own selfishness. Hypocritical.
“You can’t be here,” he added, and Khoa head-butted him then.

Summary
“You’re the one who just bit me.” Kyle ran his tongue over his cheek, up into the bloody drool he spat seconds ago and brought it into his mouth, buried it behind his teeth and licked it up his tongue.
Jason felt hot all over, anger, adrenaline and arousal mixing into a potent cocktail ready to explode the moment it was tilted the wrong way. He wondered who would make the first mistake.

Summary
“Jesus, can’t you shut up?” Jason growled and turned to Kyle.
“Why should I?” Kyle shrugged, then smirked, and Jason lost it. It was hypocritical coming from him given how he loved to run his mouth, but there was something about Kyle’s brand of annoying, earnest and cute enough to pass it as charming, that got to Jason. Made him want to shut him up with more physical means.
“Gonna have to keep your mouth busy then,” he snarled.

Summary
Jason took a slow, deep breath in, let himself take in his surroundings. He felt the weight on his chest expand with his ribs and the controlled inhale; the thick, humid heat sticking to his skin, the sweat pooling in his pits, at the small of his back, under his restraints. The heavy cuffs at his wrists and the calloused collar cinched tight around his neck.

Summary
“Could you, just once in your life, use the door like a normal person?” There’s surprise in his voice, although it is partly masked by annoyance.
“Never learned how. Seems like a waste of time doing that now.” He shrugs and crosses his arms, levels Kyle with a look from head to toe, cataloging the tension in his shoulders, the bags underneath his eyes, the disheveled hair and light bruises peeking from under his clothes, the slight bend in his spine and the muted but pained grin clipped to his lips. “You look like shit,” he points out, the fastest way to gauge his mood.

Summary
There were unnatural changes happening to him, he has no idea when it started, or how long it's been occurring. The opposite of life is not death, but a state somewhere torn between the two falsely-erected poles.

Summary
“All right, I’m ready.”
Andromache the Seventh, formerly known as Andromache the Fourth, shook off her jacket and dropped it carelessly on the ground. She would have also rolled up her sleeves had she not already been wearing a sleeveless shirt, which was just as well. She stretched her neck and waited for the usual remark about how her outfit was inappropriate for a cavalier of the Seventh House or perhaps something about the improper handling of her clothes.
She waited for a while, and yet nothing happened. Slightly thrown off, she looked up to see her adept, dressed head to toe in robes the colour of freshly spilt blood, looking at her with an expression she could not place. Her brows were furrowed so hard it looked like the woman might be developing a headache.
“Quỳnh?”
