“Bleed on my fucking floor,” Sukuna repeats snidely under his breath. Toji looks at him through the mirror. Sukuna’s hand is digging though the first aid kit while a lower eye is locked on Toji. “What the fuck happened?”
Toji looks away.
It’s too fresh and he’s not done sulking. It should have been easy. Should have been straight forward. Infiltrate, steal, kill. A three step process Toji could do in his sleep. The intel he swiped showed a two guard team guarding the hard drives. As soon as he walked up to the building, his gut had told him to run.
“Hey,” fingers curl around Toji’s face pulling him. Toji fights it before the fingers curl almost too painfully and his head is jerked. Sukuna is staring at him in the mirror. His whole being surrounding him and the syringe in his hand. “I asked you a question, brat. Answer me.”
~Toji takes care of a mess he left behind years ago and faces the consequences of acting.~

By far the worst part was seeing a pack of cigarettes. When months passed, the pain had reduced to a dull ache in his chest. Present, but quiet. Yet, even then, seeing the small carton behind the checkout counter of a corner store or gas station, (or worse yet, on top of Tord’s desk) was more than enough to send Patryck toppling over the edge all over again. He ached to see the thin cylinder of tobacco artfully balanced between Paul’s fingers and longed for the scent of smoke that clung to the fabric of his clothes.
OR
Tord needs to have a word with Patryck, who has grown almost entirely disillusioned to the Red Army due in part to the arrogance of its leader.
