Summary

For a moment, Steve’s demeanor softens, but in an instant it’s all hard glares again. “You don’t want to be like me, Lucas. I don’t want you to be like me.”

Lucas is growing up to be like Steve in all the wrong ways. They're both overly protective and self sacrificial. They're both hypocrites about it.

Summary
This is a series I'm starting because I just love the dynamic of Steve and Max (as siblings) and friends. I will add more tags and update the rating as some stories will be darker or with more angst than the others. It will feature Steve with just about everyone at one point or another, but they will all be Steve/Max-centric. There is no timeline, I have several works in progress for it already so I should update again soon.
