Summary
So far, every single heist that Kuroba Kaito has done— under the alias of Kaitou Kid, was executed perfectly. A quick, yet thrilling job well done. That is until he manages to make a mistake at the last minute and fucks up. Before plummeting into ocean water that's thousands of feet deep, Kaito realizes this could've gone better.
But don't worry, he caught the eye of a mermaid with extremely blue eyes. A stubborn, curious, and provoking mermaid, of course.
(In his defense, Shinichi was just playing with seahorses, he did not mean to accidentally becomes soulmates with a guy he just wanted to save.)
