Summary
All 11 year-old Ron wanted to do when he got on the Hogwarts Express was to sit and befriend Harry Potter.
Instead, he finds himself stuck in a cabin at the very back of the train, with the strangest Malfoy he had ever met. (The first also, but the strangeness was the important part.)
Surprisingly, he finds he’s all for it.

Summary
The newest Hashira was an oddity and a mystery. Only a few years older than Muichiro, but seemingly so much more a child. Loud and displeasing to the ear, crying and wailing constantly, Giyuu didn’t understand how a coward such as Agatsuma Zenitsu could have ever reached a rank such as theirs, particularly without even so much as a shred of evidence regarding his skill.
It was one of the very few things he and the other Hashira distinctly agreed upon. The boy did not belong. He was unfit to be a slayer, a protector. The boy was a liability, and now, every day he would disappear, up into the mountains of the prefecture they were in, in the middle of winter with Demons supposedly about.
In search of coal of all things.

So he sits on one of the rocks there, and stares out over the whole expanse of the wasteland in front of him.
(Butch gets out of the Vault. He thinks that's going to be the end of it, except it's not because Jonathon won't leave him alone, actually, and it turns out just about everyone recognizes his jacket on sight. Just how long did the Savior of the Wastelands wear his coat for?)
