He looked pale, in a way that had nothing to do with the way his clothes clung, sopping wet and heavy against his skin. A thick silence, save for the constant white noise the rain provided, punctuated only now and again by the nearby river’s ebb and flow and Gladio’s barely-contained angry huffs, followed.
