Meryl catches what he has while they are taking care of him, leaving Milly in charge of her two sick, traumatized companions. The stress pushes Milly to the breaking point, leading her to confront Vash over his continuing attempts to push her and Meryl away even as his worsening condition causes a hidden facet of his true nature to come to light.
