Summary
Percy Jackson had always been a star athlete, all throughout high school.
And it certainly didn’t hurt that just about any sport he tried growing up he was decently good at. While he could’ve easily picked to be a swimmer in college, and excelled obviously, his newfound love of hockey won out in the end. Plus, he’d heard Annabeth say something along the lines of having a better chance at going pro from hockey than with swimming. (He wasn’t sure if that was true, but he also wasn’t about to question her.)
Annabeth Chase, ever since she was in kindergarten, was a star pupil in any class and usually was the smartest person in any room.
Most people with any sanity knew not to mess with her. Hades, Leo practically always introduced her to any new person they ever met throughout high school, the first word he used was always intimidating, not that she disagreed. But, it seemed that everyone but Percy Jackson had gotten that message. Rather, it was almost like he made it his life’s mission to piss her off at any chance he could.
So obviously they were super close and totally got along.
But, that very well could change. Maybe, even for the better.
