‘Don’t!’ Grif winced as the creature’s pincers brushed against his arms. He gulped, realizing that this was it. He looked into the creature’s empty eye sockets, remembering the first day he had seen them. Back then, he hadn’t felt so alone.
Or: If A Quiet Place happened, except it's an AU where Red team (and Blue team, but they're not in this one I'm afraid) are out of the military and living normal lives. Until the world fell to sh*t. How do our loud and lovable heroes deal with having to stay silent to survive? *looks at Major Character Death tag* ... Not very well.
