The war didn’t end at the Battle of Hogwarts. They were unable to find all of the Horcruxes. Before any true destruction happened to the school, the order fled. Well, almost all of the order. Hermione was captured by the man she had been in love with since their third year. Her friends didn’t know her allegiance had switched years prior. Didn’t know she had been seeing Draco since their fifth year. Didn’t know her parents weren't truly her parents. Even going as far as to visit his family the summer before their sixth year. Draco wasn’t the only one to pledge his loyalty to the dark lord.
While they hunted down the horcruxes only she knew they were all replacements seeped in as much dark magic as possible to mask them. He kept his most trusted companion, Nagini, far away from the war. All in wait for Hermione to deliver Harry to the Dark Lord. She also had one task no one but the dark lord knew about. Find a way to return his appearance to that of himself instead of what that rat skum turned him into.
