Summary
Athur dies and then wakes up way back in season 1 with a Merlin who barely knows him, a Morgana who hasn't turned evil yet, and a lot of questions. Is this a dream? Some kind of purgatory? Or something else entirely - a chance to do things right this time around? Can he change destiny? And more importantly, how long does he have to wait while Merlin slowly warms up to him before he can tell him he knows about his magic without the idiot panicking and running off or something equally stupid? Arthur's finally figured out what Merlin means to him, now he just has to wait for Merlin to catch up.

They find that's not the only thing they have in common despite coming from opposite sides of the divide. Slow burn. The Hinny ship sinking is given all due gravitas - much to the angst of all involved (especially Draco)
