Oh, it was fairly enjoyable to see Pomni like this. All flustered and anxious, as if he had just discovered her darkest secret. Or maybe he really had. And he decided to take it up a notch.

He sounded so stern all of a sudden, and Pomni could’ve sworn she felt a wave of heat course through her body. She couldn’t even look away in embarrassment, as Jax was still firmly holding her chin. All she could muster up was a meek nod in understanding.
“Quiet now?”, Jax wondered with an arched brow before grinning, “Guess that works too.”

“Uh… Pomni?” Jax questions, walking over closer and waving a hand in front of the woman’s eyes. She doesn’t react for a moment, staring in front of her as though entranced by stagnant air. Finally– a few beats after he stopped his hand waving– the jester hiccups, giggling softly to herself. She sways so far to her left that she has to catch herself on the edge of the counter, skull only inches away from cracking against the cold metal.
“Heyyyyyy,” Pomni drawls, looking up at the rabbit with endless, swirling eyes, “When’d you get here?”
