Aziraphale knows what he’s doing is bad. He knows that he shouldn’t do it, but he also knows deep down in his gut, that he deserves it. He’s seen how much harm he has done, by being ignorant, thinking he was better than these humans. And he has tried to make up for it, he really has, but he still lies in bed at night thinking about what he could have done. Who he could have saved. Aziraphale had done so many blessings, but sometimes they hadn’t worked. He had seen so many humans shorten their already short lives, hollow eyes and wounded body beyond saving

“I guess, um,” I say, licking my lips as I stall. When did my mouth get so dry? “I don’t know why, don’t ask me why, but… you’re… obviously a lot stronger than me, and I guess that… activated some part of my brain that’s… into that, I guess.” I wring my hands, fussing with the arms of my jumpsuit tied around my waist- anything to avoid looking up at Rocky. “It’s just… been a long time since I’ve, uh. Mated with anyone, on Earth, and I think I’ve just been a bit- frustrated, so my body’s just reacting to whatever it can. Don't- don’t get me wrong, I know it probably doesn’t make a lot of sense, I mean- you could literally crush me if you wanted to, but- for some reason, I… I guess it was just… exciting. To me.” I finish lamely.
Rocky stares at me, as much as a being with no eyes and 360 degrees of echolocation ability can stare. I am acutely aware that he can hear every beat of my heart, every hitched breath. He can probably sense the pinpricks of sweat that bead on my forehead. I swallow, my heart hammering in my chest at the silence.
Rocky finally tilts his carapace ever so slightly. “You are aroused by strength in mate, question?”

“What human do when restless, question?” Rocky asks me from his starfish position. I half-ass one last sit-up, then flop onto my back, mirroring him.
“Uh. Depends on the human, I guess,” I say, chest rising and falling as I recover my breath. I wrack my brain for examples. “Exercise, mostly. Like going for a walk, or to the gym—that’s a special building just for exercising. Or, you know you can play sport, go dancing, have sex—”
Rocky perks up at that last word, and I immediately regret it.
