You're a DSO agent and have been Leon Kennedy's partner for over a year now. Hunnigan's never messed up a hotel room booking for the two of you before. Normally, sharing a bed with a coworker would just be annoying, but there's a bit of a hitch this time - the thing is, you sort of have a crush on Leon. It'll be fine, you tell yourself; you're a secret agent - you deal with more stressful situations than this on a daily basis. It's not like it's a problem that he's tall and handsome and brilliant and a crack shot and has beautiful eyes and... ugh. Surely fighting bioterrorists and BOWs is more difficult than sharing a bed with Leon for one lousy night. Right? Right?

She stumbles a bit closer and, oh it's the keys for the jet ski so that's what the mystery woman had thrown at him. And there is a bear on the keychain which is frankly adorable. He brings it to his nose and a moment later a small purr rumbles from him. Just like it had when he'd been comforting her in that room after she'd woken up after the parasite suppressor.
She lets him have a moment because frankly who the hell is she to say anything? The item was scented she could smell it from here, and the omega it was from had saved their lives. Hell, he deserved her had well and truly proved himself many times over. But she had a feeling he'd already done that well before Ashley herself had met either of them. There was history here that she was unaware of that much was clear.

“Mr Kennedy?” The doctor called, and Leon’s head slowly swivelled towards her.
“Hi.” He greeted a few seconds later, before his eyes landed on Claire and visibly widened.
“Hey mister.” She greeted with a smile, approaching the bed. The stunned look on his face only grew as she reached him, and her grin dropped slightly as he didn’t respond. “… You feelin’ okay?”
The silence stretched for several seconds before he finally responded, looking for all the world like he’d been hit around the head.
“Did… did it hurt?”
“What?” She replied, a little confused before he managed to blurt out the rest of his sentence.
“When you fell from heaven?”
“… Oh my god.”
