Summary
“Buck.”
Buck jolted out of sleep, groaning as he was ripped from a dream he can’t remember.
“Buck.”
Prying opened his eyes, Buck squinted in the bright glow that was hovering over his bunk. He had planned on catching a few hours of sleep on the forty-eight hours shift he was currently thirty-six hours into before the bell could ring again.
The resident ghost of fire station 118 had other plans.

Summary
A 10 + 1 about Tommy and Buck being friends. Until they aren't.
“You gave us a hashtag?”
He looks over to see. Oh. Oh no. She gave them two hashtags, #(not)burningdownthehouse and #lightmyfire and he’s never going to be able to look Athena in the eyes again. “Oh my god,” he says faintly.

Summary
Tommy pressed their shoulders together. “Here it comes.”
The storm was abruptly upon them. The lash of rain was deafening before Atlantis compensated for it, adjusting the sound dampeners until the rapid drum fire settled more towards the white noise end of the spectrum.
“It’s not so bad, is it?” Buck asked, quiet and hushed under the dark sky.
“No, it’s not bad at all,” Tommy said as lightning lit up all the beautiful angles of his face. “Hey, Evan, you need to wake up.”
“What do you mean?” he asked, toes and fingers going numb with cold despite Atlantis’s best efforts. “I’m awake. I’m right here.”
The storm clouds were so thick the only illumination came from the lightening. Without it, they were blind.
“Evan,” Tommy said, the atrium groaning as if a great weight was pressing down on it, “wake up.”
Lightning split the sky. Buck woke up.
In which Buck is under pressure.

Summary
Tommy had reached an equilibrium within himself since the whole catfishing incident. Yes, he was utterly, pathetically in love with his husband and would be until the day he died. Yes, it still made him want to run and never stop, but he accepted he couldn’t. Yes, their relationship had an expiration date, but he wasn’t going to hurry it along.
