Wriothesley had gained a new companion. This friend couldn’t talk to him over tea but he was a darn sight cuter than his usual company around Meropide.
The critter twirled around outside chittering happily as it smacked a clam against the glass that separated them. Wrio grinned at it, refraining from cooing at the small otter he’d started visiting every evening on his patrol.
He was about to start coaxing it into doing a trick when something lurking beyond his critter friend caught his eye. He stared out into the dark depths of the sea, and suddenly it was staring back.
Or; Wriothesley unexpectedly has a giant dragon visitor to deal with and he is not okay.
