After finally escaping the what-once-was never-ending ganes of the Spectre, Shedletsky sets out to do what he should have done years ago; slay 1x1x1x1.
Though, through his act of killing 1x1x1x1, it's as if he lost a part of himself along with them. Desperate to find a relief to the ever-present ache and dread that appeared after their death, he turns to... unconventional methods to bring back the creation he once despised so dearly.
Whether a simple invocation can soothe a wound of the soul, he would rather the result be positive. Whether a spirit defined by hatred and anger can be soothed by a simple act of care, they would rather the result be negative.

Summary
After an altercation with the beasts get both Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk incapacitated, both the Ancients and Beasts retreat. Only to figure out that Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk have been replaced by someone else.
Or, due to a spell gone wrong, the Sage of Truth and Truthless Recluse get transported into the bodies of their interdimensional selves and must figure out how to get back by doing the thing they hate most; working together.
